A Hint of Peplum

I love the look of peplum tops, skirts and dresses. They can do wonders for your waistline when fitted properly. The trouble is, they can also make you look wider if the peplum sits too high on your natural waist or if it flares out too far away from the hips. Having a long torso makes this problem way too common for me, not only with this trend but also when choosing any piece of clothing with a defined waist. Luckily this Anthropologie top fits perfectly. It is long torso friendly, if you will. I also like that the barely there peplum doesn't add the unnecessary bulk to the widest part of my body.
